It is good practice for the instructor to share the SO assessment plan for the course with the students, preferably in the first week of class. This will increase the awareness of the course relevant SOs among the students and will re-emphasize the instructor of the importance of SO assessment. This helps the instructor in keeping in view the relevant SOs whenever designing an assessment. At the same time, it helps the students in paying attention to their abilities that are required at the time of graduation.
An SO assessment plan may have three simple questions to be answered by the course instructor for each SO relevant to the course:
1) When will the SO be introduced to the students?
