Let us consider an example of rubric based assessment for scoring the students' presentation skills. For this example let us assume the following are the rubrics with their performance ratings, the descriptors and the scores earned by one of the students.

CLOSO uses the term "QS" for a Question Set. In this example, we will consider each rubric as a QS. In CLOSO “Assessment Design” page, the rubrics properties are input as shown in the following screen snapshot:
Once the rubric assessment scheme has been designed and input as above, we may add other rubric based assessments as Assessment 2, 3, etc. In CLOSO, we can mix rubric and non-rubric assessments such that Assessment 1 may be a rubric based assessment while any other assessments may be non-rubric.
Once the Assessment design part for each rubric of an assessment has been done, we can start score input for the students. To start score or marks input, click “Score” in the left panel menu of the instructor window. The following window will open. Here the instructor will input the scores of each student for each rubric.
